It has been a successful season for Comber Rec FC who won two of the Northern Amateur Football League’s most prestigious trophies.

Having defeated Crumlin Star in the Border Regiment Cup final in December, a fine run of results saw Comber Rec secure the Premier Division title by 5 points from Derriaghy C.C. and Crumlin Star.

He scored the goal that secured the Irish League title for Linfield in 2004 so Mark Picking, who is part of the Comber management team, knows all about winning trophies and was delighted to be presented with the silverware at the end of a long, hard, season.
