Linfield are back on home soil for Matchday 13 of the Sports Direct Premiership with Cliftonville the visitors to Windsor Park (3pm k.o. all-ticket). This is the second meeting of the season between the teams after a scoreless draw at Solitude last month.
Jim Magilton brings his men to Windsor following a midweek 2-1 home win over Coleraine, and it was no surprise to see record scorer Joe Gormley on target with 2 goals to move The Reds up to 5th place in the table.
Linfield regained pole position at the top the table with a deserved 3-1 win at Loughgall. Joel Cooper and Charlie Allen sealed the win with individual moments of magic, firing home early contenders for goal of the season.
The Blues will expect a tough 90 minutes against a Cliftonville side looking to reignite their title challenge. It promises to be a feisty encounter between these two great rivals.
