The split fixture formula for the final five rounds of the Sports Direct Premiership season has now been locked in, setting the stage for an exciting conclusion to the campaign.

Following the completion of Matchday 33, the league will divide into two sections, with the top six sides competing in Section A across the final five fixtures.

With everything still to play for, the closing weeks of the season promise high drama as clubs battle for:

  • Automatic relegation survival

How the Split Fixtures Work

The schedule for the final five matches has been determined using a set formula, ensuring a balanced and competitive conclusion. Venues for each fixture will be decided based on previous meetings between the clubs during the opening 33 matches of the season.

The finalised post-split fixtures will be confirmed on Saturday 21 March 2026, following the conclusion of Cliftonville v Ballymena United.
