Linfield Swifts were 2-1 winners over Portadown Reserves last night at Shamrock Park with both of the Linfield goals coming from captain Liam Burns. The Swifts are next scheduled to play at the Coleraine Showgrounds against Coleraine Reserves on Monday 30th December.

Linfield Chairman Roy McGivern and Vice Chairman Stephen Dickson were in attendance at a function in the Ballyclare Linfield Supporters Club on Saturday evening. They were presented with a generous donation to club funds by Ballyclare LSC Chairman Ivan Higgins. Linfield player Joel Cooper also attended the event in his home town.
